I’m 30 and I’m not the owner of the apartment where I live.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I’m not married yet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m 30 ans I don’t have kids.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I don’t have stable job anymore.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can go on and on about this list ! When I got 20, I had plans. Most of them were about fulfilling that list of goals before I get 30. But are all of these projects really mines or just a reflection of what society want me to do ?<\/p>\n

About 6 month ago, I was writing about the 30 year\u00a0crisis I’ve been through in the post\u00a0“Hello Midlife Crisis”<\/a>. <\/strong><\/em>By reading it again today, I can see that I was preparing myself, one step at a time, to accept being 30 years old but also\u00a0all my\u00a0success and failures.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, somebody asked me to explain what it feels like to be 30. Today, I can say that it allows me to be more indulgent toward myself. And the\u00a0much talked about list has been replaced by life rules to follow in order to insure my happiness.<\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I accept my lifestyle.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I’m ok with my choices.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I live for me, not for others’ glance.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I think about my happiness first.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m 30 and I have a life ahead.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
